Intel's new Sandybridge provides 15% more performance than previous CPUs. Massively overclockable* and available now!
|

The launch of Intel's second generation of Core i5 and i7s sees the release of a new CPU socket 1155. The Sandybridge processors are a redesign which provides upwards of 15% more performance per clock cycle over first generation Core i5 and i7 processors.
Whilst the CPUs are highly overclockable, it is restricted to the K versions, as these have unlocked multipliers. The new CPU architecture doesn't allow significant overclocking via the Base Clock. So if you want the best value i.e. overclocked it makes sense to go for the K version of the CPUs.
Get a Core i Series Sandybridge CPU on our award winning Hellspawn XFire and Diablo GTX systems.
We have selected the best available options for our systems from the currently available CPUs:
Intel® Core™ i5-2300* Processor (6M Cache, 2.80 GHz)
